Uganda To Host The 8th COMESA Business Forum

information pills geneva; font-size: small;”>The Private Sector Foundation (PSFU) in Partnership with COMESA Business Council (CBC) and the Government of Uganda is hosting the 8th COMESA Business Forum. This will run from November 20 – 21 November, order 2012 under the theme “Enhancing Intra-COMESA Trade through Micro, viagra dosage Small and Medium Enterprise Development- Seizing Opportunities for Innovation and Prosperity in Business”.

This dialogue brings together over 800 of Africa’s top business leaders, international businesses and regional policy makers on one platform to engage on common agendas that support business interests in the 19 Sts of the COMESA region.

This forum will present a unique opportunity to the business community in Africa and examine the challenges they face and therefore indentify solutions.

It will be a 2 day meeting which will cover a wide range of issues like Top Shapers/Visionaries of Africa’s Business Landscape, boosting Intra-Africa trade through regional integration, going green-New way to do business in Africa, the Euro-zone crisis and its impact on Africa’s Economy, SMEs and Competitiveness.

Then Agriculture and food security, Financial Markets, Infrastructure Development, Innovation for Wealth and job creation, Tourism and Business, Youth and Enterprise Development, Gender and Business as well as an Open Debate on public, private dialogue-the debate will be covered live by various media houses from Africa.

The forum will also profile a regional exhibition at Munyonyo Speke Resort from 19 – 24 November, 2012 where over 50 exhibitors from the region are expected and about 50 competitors from Uganda have registered already.

There will be Business- to- Business meetings from 20 – 21 November, a Gala Night Dinner on 20th November and Business tours on November 21, 2012. About 500 Ugandan Nationals and 400 Regional Delegates are expected to attend the forum.

Among the invited guests is ECOWAS Business Community – West Africa, Indian Business Community, China Business Community and US Business Community. There is also Businesses from COMESA Region, South African Businesses, Corporates, International Investors, Traders, International Investors, media houses from the region, government officials, COMESA Key Policy makers and Export Promotion Bodies.

There will be several benefits for participating in this Business Forum like meeting business leaders in the region and from the global market, establish joint venture partnerships and contribute to influencing policy formulations affecting business development in the region.
